Political Philosophy

My philosophy is simple...Listen first, then ask questions, and then speak. I try to make myself as available as possible to all of my constituents. I also work very hard at communicating my vision for our city.

Towards that end I have created an on-line newsletter. The newsletter provides information about the city, current issues and my campaign for re-election. Often constituents will e-mail me about articles in the newsletter. They will share their thoughts and feelings and provide different perspectives on issues that we are dealing with.

I believe democracy works best when more people are involved. I am looking forward to the campaign and hope that all the candidates engage in a vigorous debate about the important issues involving our city.
